Event Collection & Tracking

Event collection from web apps and backend services

Capture Events from Your Web Apps and Backend Services

DataBridge collects user interactions, system events and business metrics from your web applications and backend services. Our JavaScript SDK and REST APIs make it straightforward to instrument your applications and start collecting validated event data. Mobile SDKs (iOS, Android) are on the roadmap.

SDKs and APIs

Lightweight and easy to integrate into your existing applications.

Supported Platforms

JavaScript Web SDK

  • Web applications and Single-Page Apps (SPAs)
  • Support for React, Vue, Angular and vanilla JavaScript
  • Custom event tracking with rich context
  • Session management and user identification

Server-Side APIs

  • Integrate with backend services using our REST APIs

Mobile SDKs

Coming Soon
  • iOS SDK: Native Swift/Objective-C support
  • Android SDK: Native Kotlin/Java support

Key Features

Automatic Context Enrichment Every event is automatically enriched with contextual information:

  • Device information (type, model, OS version)
  • User agent
  • IP address and geolocation
  • Session tracking
  • Timestamp and timezone
  • App version and build number

Offline Support Events are queued locally when network connectivity is unavailable and automatically sent when connection is restored. Never lose critical data due to network issues.

Efficient Batching Events are intelligently batched to optimize network usage and reduce battery consumption on mobile devices. Configure batch size and frequency to match your needs.

Type Safety Our TypeScript/Swift/Kotlin SDKs provide full type safety, making it impossible to send incorrectly structured events. Catch errors at compile-time, not in production.

Integration with DataBridge Platform

Events collected through our SDKs are:

  1. Validated against your JSON schemas in real-time
  2. Enriched with contextual data and transformations
  3. Routed to configured destinations (warehouses, analytics tools)
  4. Monitored for data quality and anomalies
  5. Stored in dead-letter queues if validation fails
